My wife, my kids, and I had an amazing time at Monster Jam at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida. Everyone in my family had a blast, including my daughters, who were especially excited to cheer for Sparkle Smash and its driver. They were thrilled when Sparkle Smash came in first place, which made the experience even more memorable for them. The ticket prices were very reasonable, especially for a family outing. The food and drinks inside the arena were definitely on the expensive side, but the food itself was enjoyable. We ordered chicken tenders with fries as well as a cheeseburger with fries, and both were good options for an arena event. We also attended the pre-show Pit Party, and it was one of the highlights of the entire experience. Being able to get up close to the monster trucks and meet the drivers made the extra cost worthwhile. It gave us an opportunity to see the trucks up close and made the event feel much more interactive and personal. One thing I particularly liked about this venue is that Benchmark International Arena is considerably smaller than Camping World Stadium in Orlando. A fantastic arena; parking right out front cost a flat rate of $35 on the day of the event. Access was smooth and quick. Moving between the entrance and our seats was also fast and easy—everything was well-organized and clearly signposted. We sat in the "300" section; the view was great, but the seating angle is very steep, so be careful with children and the elderly when navigating the stairs. The rows of seats in the 300 sections are very cramped; after two hours, our legs were aching because there was no room to move them. Also, if someone needs to pass in front of you to get to another seat, everyone has to stand up—it feels quite dangerous, as it’s very tight and steep. The size and layout of the seats were the only downsides to the whole experience. When leaving, we waited five minutes for the main crowd to clear out, and our exit was quick once the area had emptied. Leaving the parking lot was also fast, thanks to the many security guards and police officers directing traffic. Everything was very well organized—kudos to the entire team involved. And for anyone visiting: please take your trash with you when you leave; it was disheartening to see people's lack of cons

So I have been to quite a few concert venues. Thos might be my favorite. Getting into the concert took like 5 minutes. Lines for drinks and food were short. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Security was a breeze. Views from my cheap seats were just fine. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Our group had a great overall experience at Benchmark Arena. Getting into the Sky Deck was quick and easy, which set the tone for the night. Michelle, the bartender, stood out—she made excellent cocktails and provided great service throughout. The buffet was another highlight: food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Angel, the buffet attendant, was attentive, personable, and really added to the experience. A couple areas for improvement—the popcorn was pre-bagged, stale, and cold. That’s an easy fix that could make a noticeable difference. Also, once you enter the venue, there’s no re-entry, which can be frustrating if you need to step out or left something in your car. That said, the complimentary bottled water and beverages in the Sky Deck were a big plus, especially since other drink options were on the pricier side. Overall, a fun visit with great service and solid food—definitely worth checking out.
